I'm trying to identify a serial # on the back of the headstock from a custom shop (?) strat that begins with the letters "JH" followed by 6 digits. I tried every search I could think of on the web and no luck. - Thanks, Greg

Maybe a special run for JH Guitars in West Chester, PA? Just a wild guess. Is it a rightly strung lefty (Jimi Hendrix)? Many questions. Post a picture so we can help you out dude. We need more information!

I don't have any photos of the neck, but the serial # is JH041890 which is on the back of the headstock opposite of where the Fender logo is on the front. It is a right handed '57 style headstock. Highly flamed maple without the skunk stripe, '60's style with rosewood board. Stamped on the base of the neck is a red oval with outline of a strat headstock that say's Fender custom shop with "3 93" written in black ink. Below the oval, in black ink is handprinted "ZAYERELLIG" and off to the side also in black ink is hand printed the #'s 6105, which I'm guessing refers to the frets. I called Fender support and they ran the # through the database and came up empty. Any guesses?
