I'm a mac user and it seems the Fuse software isn't ready yet. Is there an easy way to get to/play downloaded presets off an SD card?

Hi douglasdflather,

Thanks for your inquiry. You should be able to drag your audio content into the Audio folder on your SD Card, assuming that you have allowed your Fender G-DEC 3 to format the card.

If you have not formatted the card. Please plug it in to the SD slot on your Fender G-DEC 3. The amp will add it's folder structure, and then you can either access the SD card through the USB connection to your Mac. Or you can plug the card into your Mac directly/USB adaptor, etc., and drag and drop the files into the Audio folder.

Keep in mind that you need to format the card as FAT32 and not Mac OS.

Don't the presets go in a different folder than audio?

Thanks Allen for the response, but I was asking a different question. I've been able to get the presets on an SD card, but once I insert the SD card into my GDEC, how to I access them using the controls on the amp?

thanks in advance
- Doug

Hi Doug,

Sorry. I missunderstood your question. You can store, save to, load from and export/import to & from your SD card (Presets & audio), as well as play audio content directly from the SD card via the Quick Access button on the Fender G-DEC 3 front panel.

However, you do need to load a given Preset into a Preset location on the amp's hard drive to "play" from that Preset, and access a loaded Band Track from that Preset, etc.

I hope that addresses your question more specifically. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thanks.
