I just came back in with the dogs - the Sheltie demanded to go and as usual she needed to have a walk and so did my German Shepherd - Sherlock - he needed to check out the fence line in case any critters had dare to cross into the back yard - we do get deer visitations - both in the front yard and the hill behind the house. When he sees them, he stands still and stares :P The Sheltie of course would want to herd them

Got a Pepsi from the fridge and I appear to be composing this missive ...

Reading your post and looking at my black MIA standard tele and wondering if I put the right scratch plate on it. I want it all black to match my Gilmour but I put a black abalone plate and black abalone tipped controls on it. Maybe I should have put a plain black or black pearloid on it. But you don't see too many abalone ones so I guess I'm satisfied. Boring huh?

Who are you pulling for in the game?

One last check of the Forums before I blow out the candles and head home from the office. The Giants have an off day, so no baseball game tonight. Thought I might get out into the garden this afternoon, but it looks like rain, so we'll see.

I'm sipping a very decent cabernet and listening to Steely Dan ("Third World Man", last track on Gaucho). But this week's episode of Sherlock on PBS has already started and I can't miss it. Signing off!

This is just one of those games I watch because its on. I am not much of a fan for the NATS so I would rather see the Cardnals win. At this time its 2 all.

I was playing some 50s-style rock & roll on the Strat a little while ago. Now I'm just sitting on my buh-tawks in front of the TV, flipping between Facebook and the Fender Forum on my laptop.

A bit earlier I was reading this card:

about John 5's clinic at the local guit shop.

Now I'm just browsing thru threads waiting for the missus to finish with the tube so I can go on a zombie killing rampage!

I love my life! :D

I'm about to turn in early because tomorrow night I'm tagging along with my guitar teacher to watch his band play, including 2 hour drive to the gig, 2 hour drive back, plus helping with set up and tear down, so it's liable to be a late one!
