The Cars frontman has passed on. I did like that band. Rest easy guitarman.

You beat me by 7 minutes, Rollie. I just saw this.

RIP Ric. Happy trails.

My little sister beat us both Marky. I walked in to the living room and she was on twitter. She said, "Ric Ocasek just died". Blew my mind, another talented gentleman is gone.

Wow, I didn't see this coming! My girlfriend actually knew him personally, although it had been many years since she's seen him, or talked to him. This is a bummer. RIP, Ric. :(

Thanks, for this post SBLS. First I heard of it.

Seems like yesterday that Ric got into the RRHOF. Somehow I have two same company The Cars albums. Same cover, but different vinyl record labels. Could be a promo album. Can’t say.

Regardless, the music was great. Thanks, Ric.

Have a peaceful journey to Rock and Roll Heaven.

Sad news especially after Eddie Money just passed last week. They say these things come in three's?

I met Ric and Ben Orr when they used to play at a coffeehouse in Cambridge, MA called
The Idler Cofeehouse, as an acoustic duo called simply Ocasek and Orr.

Soon after they formed The Cars and were highly promoted by Maxanne Sartori, a disc jockey
at WBCN in Boston.

Rest easy, Mr Ocasek...

RIP Ric. I liked his voice with The Cars.
