I got this neck at an estate sale recently, and I wonder what it is. There's no access to the truss rod, but it looks like a 60s model. Hmmm... http://s1255.photobucket.com/user/redsquare22/library/

That is not an authentic Fender Jazz Bass neck. It is a fake, and a very poorly made fake at that. The reason there is no access to the truss rod is because there isn't a truss rod at all! That shows you just how bad a fake it is. The best thing for you to do is to cut it up into pieces and burn it so no one else gets hoodwinked like you did.

Neck dated 1974, it's an old fake at least. Got the whole geetar in auction for $100. Popped off the neck and sold it for $450, with a warning that it might not be legit.
