Fender has two signature basses for Flea but not an Artist series pair for John Frusciante.

John deserves both a Strat and a Tele.

Well, the battered sunburst '62 would become the basis for a signature Stratocaster, though the Fiesta Red '61 is also a serious candidate. With the sunburst '63 Custom Telecaster they'll certainly form a nice pair for a Red Chilli Peppers signature set.

Even if Fender wanted to do it, John Frusciante gets a vote too.

Sounds fine to me, though instead of two guitars for Frusciante, how about one signature Strat for J.F. (granted I'm not the absolute biggest Chili Peppers fan in the world, but I associate him much more with Strats than Teles), and another for Dave Navarro?

Sounds reasonable.
