Thinking about buying a used Fender Mustang Floor FX pedal.

Is FUSE compatible with the pedal??

Are you talking about the Mustang 4 button programmable floor pedal with built in tuner? Yes...it was designed specifically for the amp, and the amp is Fuse compatible. You will be able to switch through pre-set amp models and effects via programming and the pedal.

The question was confusing, because I don't believe it is considered a "multi-effects pedal"...it is a multi effects amp (and Fuse), and a compatible programmable pedal.

yeah, they were v1 only.

Those things were selling like hot cakes. People were buying one of those and then pretty much any solid state amp that was loud, and they had a great rig with that same exact Fender DSP for cheaper than a Mustang III.

Pretty decent chance Fender didn't like this, because you could buy a Behringer for the combo amp part and only get the pedal from Fender. So despite having a product that was clearly successful and desirable, it was squashed for the sake of maximizing sales numbers. Or at least IMO, YMMV.
