I just picked up a Mooer SkyVerb for cheap. Very tiny footprint
but a great sounding 'verb from vintage to modern sounds.

A 7 mic kit from Samson for my drums. Got them for less than $200 on the last Black Friday. Not the best, not the worst, but well worth it. This left me more change to spend on my next pedal. :D

A custom shop Phase 90, with the old circuitry but added external power input and LED.
Phase 90s are kind of one-trick-ponies, but there are songs they're needed for, and the new circuit ones just don't sound as good to me.

The last piece of gear I actually bought was a 1966 Vibrolux Reverb Amp.

A Fender vs. 2 Rumble 150 bass amp for the Armadillo Teen...and a few weeks prior to that, an EH Big Muff Pi at a pawnshop for $15!

Congrats. That's one of the most droolworthy guitars on the market right now.

(Personally, I don't like the bridge - YMMV. It seems too hard to intonate (impossible for a wound D), and with unequal vibration travel distances for different strings. If I knew of any drop-in replacement bridges, I'd probably pick up a Vela myself.)

Mesa Cab Clone for recording. But I've been buying so much stuff lately it's hard to keep track. I'm starting to think I have a problem, and I don't mean that just to be funny. I'm worried about myself. Maybe I should ask my wife for advice.

The bridge seems fine. Certainly with the 10s it came with. You should certainly try one if you run across one. That's easier said than done, however, as I've yet to spot one in a store. Sweetwater's excessive photography of each guitar is the (sales) tool of the devil.

My last gear purchase was a Digitech JamMan Express XT looper pedal.

I use it to record riffs & chord progressions and then improvise solos over them. This looper pedal makes "my sound" more full.

I'm not 100% certain since I bought a bunch of stuff in a relative close time frame, but I do believe it was one of these: http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/bass-preamp Image

In fact, I used it today for laying down some bass tracks in the studio. Very nice for recording bass. Highly recommended. 8) I get a really beefy, full tone with it. Plus, I can boost the 400, which is good for the bass to cut through. That was a trick we learned from Bob Olhsson, who was an engineer at Motown. Speaking of Motown, I wish I had a '62 P Bass, strung with some flats, that would sound awesome through that MXR, too. Of course, don't expect me to pull off a James Jamerson. :P
