Through the main working week (Monday - Saturday), I find very little time to play my Precision as work & family take up most of my time. Yet on a Sunday I can find a quiet couple of hours, to sit with my bass & amp and enjoy it even if I learn nothing new to play.
It is just that bit of "me" time just me a Precision bass & a Rumble 200 combo and a big smile on my face :D
I really like Sunday's now.

Sunday afternoons used to be major jam time with an ever changing assortment of players showing up at an impromptu jam joint.

Take what you can. That's cool you get some time to jam out and play. Sunday does seem like a day to jam, doesn't it.

Enjoy Sundays!

Once you get to be a geezer like me, you can play as often as you wish - as long as the arthritis allows it....lol.

Turns out to be Friday for me. As I've gotten older, friends typically want to do things Saturdays and Sundays ... but not Friday nights. So often that's my one "forget about work, no obligations, nowhere to go" night to play as long as I want. Nothing like time to yourself!

One of the few good things about being single and retired is I can play anytime I like. Like at 01:51 this morning. Headphones of course to keep me from getting evicted.

I have a Korg Ampworks Bass unit that I use as a headphone amp, for that very same reason (playing bass at daft o'clock  ).
Though in my case I don't wake the wife & kids up

I have a similar Korg unit.. the AX10 pedal I believe... i run either that or my Mustang III ('59 Bassman seting of course) into my PC, and then from there into IKMulitmedia Amplitube to whatever bass rig I feel like, into headphones and just jam for hours!
