That's cool. 8) Hopefully, that hurricane doesn't FUBAR you too badly, so you have a place to even play it.

Speaking of GC, my PJ Precision will be in tomorrow before noon. It should be as easy as turning in the loaner, an taking mine.

That should have been the plan, but UPS didn't deliver it today. I love UPS. Image

Sorry to hear about that. Maybe because of the hurricane that this happened.

It could've been, but they had other UPS deliveries that day too.

Just for yuks, I tried out a nice Standard Precision while I was waiting for my PJ Precision , that never showed up. It sounded nice, but the Precision neck was too uncomfortable for my left hand. I'm really locked in on a Jazz configuration neck, now. Unfortunate, but at least I know now for sure about playing a bass with a Jazz neck is where I'm at. It's nice that the Spl. Edition Deluxe PJ Precision has the Jazz neck. It really is a sweet bass, that it has a Fender Noiseless Jazz pup on it. I like the Precision body, and the Maple Fretboard with the Black Block Inserts. The Sea Foam Pearl is a different color finish for me also. A really nice designed, and well made Fender.

Yeah, the Precision neck is slightly thicker (wider?) than the Jazz, so if you're used to a Jazz, it might seem a little awkward. It's still easier to move than the Schecter was, but I'm wonder if that had to do with the spacing of the frets, themselves? The Schecter had 21 instead of 20 frets, and the Squier somehow seems like a more compact neck, even though I think it's the same scale length. There's also the whole fretboard radius thing, too.

I like my MIM PJ bass (Deluxe Special). I'm pretty sure it has a J neck.

I still would like an MIA one.

I hope you all are safe and dry!

Howdy boys! Thought that I should check up on my boys, making sure they aren't getting up to no good without me. :)

Nah, we're behaving, as far as I can tell. :P Not too many of the original posters hanging around these days, though. Gear wise, I still have my same amps, but I sold my Schecter Ultra VI, trying to sell my Schecter Diamond Jazz Bass, but no dibs on that, and I got a new Squier Vintage Modified Precision PJ Bass, recently. I'm back with playing Fender/Squier again.

I just got my electrical power back at the house. I had a generator running for some lights, the refrigerator, and small fans. But no A/C.

That's good to hear you got your power back. I was wondering how you made out down there. You get a lot of damage around your place?

Thankfully not. I had an upper section of screen from above the pool get torn out by the wind. Other than that, that was it.
I did have my PJ Precision delivered to GC today. So I went down to Hallandale, and picked it up.
