True. One time for the hell of it, I went all of the way to the last pages of the forum (I think it was the bass amp one) and it had the dates of things being posted in 1969, or something wonky like that. Fender must have been quite ahead of it's time for that, then. :P

We didn't even have pocket calculators in 1969.

Yeah, not until the next few years. There were computers, though. Obviously nothing like there is now, or even what they had in the 80's, even.

You really didn't do posts in 1969.

Well, unless it was a guard post for your Southeast Asian vacation. :P

This is the only Fender PJ bass with the 3 knob arrangement having a top-mounted input jack.

I wasn't aware of that. Interesting.

Oh yeah, you're right about that. I wasn't paying attention to that detail before. Those are usually with the jack on the bottom.

I changed out the White Pearloid on the Olympic White Precision, for the original Tort PG.

Thanks, Olympic White is one of my favorite Fender colors. When you get a chance post some pics of the bad black precision.

Your Spl. Edition Deluxe PJ looks better, than the Sunburst PJ you had. Does this also mean the 500/1 has gone?

Thanks, I like the Sea Foam Green, a lot more than I did when I first saw it. It looks good in a post, but even better when it's seen on a real bass.
Yeah,..... that one's gone, but I don't miss it. The Am. Std. Precision with the Tort on, and the Nylons.

OK, you still have the Precision. For some reason I thought you dumped it. Just trying to keep track. :P
