Today was a good day to nail down some settings. Outstanding. The settings work great with both the GL, and the "PJ". The one variation that was the killer, the Bass tone knob. I added the plus bass to it, and it is a Right On sound.

What you really need is the "Far Out Man!!!" sound. But I suppose that might involve things that have the word purple or orange associated with them. :P

Would you say it's like getting a P Bass sound, but playing like a Jazz Bass because of the neck? Then there is the added J Bass pickup for the bridge.

For my settings it's a Precision with more pronounced low tones being pushed out with more power behind it. I attribute that to both amp setup, and the Bridge Jazz Pup filling in any gaps that may be there. Using the Jazz Pup as almost a post power, to back up the Precision Pup.
Of course playing it with the Jazz Neck is what I really like. It's quick, and smooth. It just is a better fit for me too.

Yeah, that bridge Jazz pickup can add some extra oomph to it, mixed with the P.

Absolutely! It puts out a full, power sound with the two.

Yeah, that is a good combo. Unfortunately, the basses that I have that with I do need to get repaired. It's just a matter of time and money.
