Today was the day. Great sound. The combination of the two pups is cool. I'm going to try out the Overdrive Channel maybe tomorrow. The Vintage Channel really did kick though.

I'll bet it did. 8) I happen to like the combination of those two pickups.

Me too. The G&L SB-2 I had, had the same setup. I found out later the Marshall MB Series amp didn't do it justice. Live, and learn. The "PJ" sounds good through the Fender.

Who knows, you might have held on to that G&L if you had a different amp?

Well, you got this one now, so I guess you'll see how it pans out.

Yeah,...... cool having it as an Am. Std. It's everything I like in one package. it's good to have the USA Geddy Lee Jazz for that lower tone too.

Plus, you have that P-Bass sound when you need it. Sometimes, I use to dial off the J pickup and use mostly the P pickup on the P Bass Lyte. Maybe add a little bit of the J for extra flavor. Either that, or run them both on full. I have active pickups, with that EQ, so it's still going to be different than a passive setup.

Even with it being a passive, there are some options to work with on it.

Tomorrow I can really sit down with it. Try bunches of combinations.
