I do rock, metal, blues, maybe funk for goos measure in some songs.

I play a 2005 Mexican P-Bass. It's been amped to american standards, and setup professionally. It's got a purple/blue color shifting finish.
Paid 225 bucks, plus got the bag for it.

So we're all P-bass fans... what kind of music do ya'll like to play with that nasty bass you have? I love FUNK. George Porter Jr, Rocco Prestia, Robert Mercurio from Galactic, etc... are all P-bass players I dig! I'm not really into the hard rock thing, but appreciate it (so don't hate!). I'm really into Soulive and Lettuce right now. I like the soulful, funky, Jazz (but I'm not drawn to the Jazz bass sound).

I play in a cover band. The band plays mostly classic Motown, Stax-Volt/Atlantic/Carolina Beach/Northern Soul type R&B and Classic Rock with a little pop for Festival/Fair gigs. Fortunately for me, I get to pick most of the music. The lead guitarist hardly ever suggests a song. A recent set list is here: http://kollectionband.com/set.html
You can hear the band playing live, outdoors, in the rain here: http://www.myspace.com/kollectionband

And since ya'll love photos so much.......I'm the seated old bearded white guy in the Hawaiian shirt with guitars all over it....

We change backup singers so much we didn't include them in the photo.

There are a few more band photos at a gig here: http://kollectionband.com/profiles.html

The band is based in Albemarle. I live in Badin about 7 miles away. Rougemont is near Durham which makes it approximately 2.5 hours away.

Sure, come on over!

My favorite music is Rock and Metal but i also love to play blues. My band do some Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden cover but we also play some bluesy Hendrix and stuff. We are intentionally a metal band. I also like some fun, fast funky stuff.
