Hey guys! I have an '07 ADP Bass. its the version with the double jazz "humbucker" in the bridge position. I was curious as to what options i have to swap out the pickups. I know i wouldnt have a problem swapping out the precision pickup, but the dual jazz pickup is going to be harder to replace.

its not something i need to do, but it would be nice to know that i have the option. and i dont really want to have to route out anything.

I have the exact same question. There's an old Talkbass thread about this and basically it seems the Powerbucker may be the only thing that fits without modifications. There is a guy talking about putting a Bartolini BB4 in there with the aid of a custom pickup ring but I don't know how he did that - the way I measure it the BB4 soapbar it too wide for the space by about 3 mm. I could be wrong...?

That looks pretty good. Nice professional installation. The reality is to go ahead and modify your bass any way that suits you as long as you are not looking to resell it. Not only will you not recover the cost of the mods, but they will actually reduce the market value unless you are an internationally known and respected bass player. So have at it and enjoy! 8)
