Okay, so I sold three basses in the last three weeks, and I have never been able to hang onto bass cash very long.

This 57P followed me home from Texas. Can I keep it?

Sent it up to GG for authentication/appraisal. Very happy with his review.

My wife is happy, three basses gone, and only one came in. And I am happy, because this really is a nice player. Put three hours on it last night, still smiling.

That's cool to hear. 8) He is one of my top three main influences, besides Peter Hook and David J. I learned how to play bass by trying to play along with Cure records.

As did I... along with Eric Avery from Jane's Addiction.

Yeah, that's another one. "Mountain Song" was one of the first songs I ever learned how to play. I did get to see them live before they originally broke up at the first Lollapalooza festival back in 1991. I knew they were going to break up after that tour because of an interview with Dave Navarro in a Guitar World magazine that came out beforehand. He was on his way to rehab when he did the interview, apparently. Sometimes, that time period (I was 20 at that time) seems like it was 100 years ago and others just last year.

As we all know, G.A.S. is something we have to live with. I'm very pleased to announce a therapy that is getting fantastic results. Send me one of your basses to the address I PM'd you. My therapist guaranteed me that I'll be very happy and satisfied!
