Me too! I always have one. Or two. I guess if I didn't have the USA Geddy Lee Jazz, I'd have an Am. Std. Olympic White Jazz.

I picked up this interesting bass last week, a Squier Precision V with Jazz pickups. The neck feels good and is straight, and it sounds good as well. Checked under the hood and it hasn't been modded. The Jazz pups are stock.
IMO the Squiers are the best made cheap bass you can find.

Hi Linnin,
It's pretty awesome that you still have this bass after 40 years. It's a beauty too!
Health to play another 40 years.

Are you referring to the Olympic White P Bass? Yep on the CS60's pups. A bit of grain in the Maple Fretboard too. I like the PG on it too. 8)

There's a Precision in a local store that has a grain that looks not too bad. But then I compared it with this one. This one won out on that. I can't say I've seen as prominent a grain as this one for some time.

Yeah, you don't seem to see it like that too often.

When I saw how much more detail this board had, I didn't waste too much time locking this Precision in. I was glad it was still available. Right after I locked mine in, the other Precisions stated to move. Weather the one I chose would've gone first by someone else, who knows.
