Yep that's what I heard; as for price here in the UK you get ripped off all the time paid about £350 in 85 as for dating the SN does not seem to mean much as when I checked all the part numbers it turns out to be a 82 that would tally with when I brought it, as it was on the shop wall high up for a good few years while I drooled :lol:

Hey rubeni, I have a 78-79 fretless that I have been trying to find out more about recently that also has no holes where others have covers. Your serial number is pretty close to mine. S912060


If you really want to find a precise date you got to take the neck /PG and PU out and check pots a lot of work just to find a date.
