Yeah I did. I sold my Black and Maple MIA. I just was not playing it anymore. Not because I didn't like it or anything, but because I was having too much fun with the 3 that I still have. I sold one other bass, and gave one bass to my nephew.

What's left:
Highway One P-Bass
Squier Vintage Modified P-Bass
G&L SB-2 Tribute

Wanting to add:
MIA G&L SB-2
Maybe a fretless

Still want to try extensively:
Squier Classic Vibe 60s P-Bass
G&L L-2000

Poor thing I've would have bought it... :( Oh well... you should get that 60's pbass, iz like butter, and I don't even like rosewood!!! I think the highway1 is getting lonely with it being the only mia fender left... all the more reason to get the new Am Std V precision

You owe it to yourself to pick up an Am STD P-V I bought mine when they first came out. Candy Cola with a maple fretboard. Great tone right out of the box!

I'm guessing it's the Mike Dirnt Squier and you removed the pickguard

Get a Duncan Hot Rails and wire it to the middle position. Now isntead of screwing it to the pickguard in the middle, put it in the bridge slot and the bridge pickup in the middle.

That's one cool looking bass, but I'd rather have the Fender (it is pricey though).

This is my 1996 Fender P-Bass. A friend sold it to me for $250. I'm positive it's from '96 though, the serial number proves it (the prefix is MN, which was used in'96. i did my research.). Does anyone know what specific bass i have here? P.S. The electronics in it are active.

Also, this is a strange request, but does anyone know where i could buy a pickguard like the one on this bass? The plastic on the one that came on it is warped, and it's just causing problems.

No prob man! It is a cowpoke. or fender official name was a Fender precision bass special. Made in the 90's. Me and zod highly recommend WDmusic but I hear Warmoth makes some good custom pickguard. But I might be wrong
