I finally got my mirror guard on my 2008 Amer. Stand. I just wish the pics would come out better. It looks so much better in person that the pic. The blizzard pearl finish and the mirror guard go great together.

#1

Image
#2

Basses are a bit different. #1 has an Original Jazz pickup in the bridge with the cloth wires and Hipshot HB7 tuners. #2 has the stock noiseless for a bit of a different tone and Hipshot BT3 tuners like the original Klunston reverse wind. Soon both will be changed from an active preamp to all passive wired so that the P and Jazz pickups have their own volume and tone control.

Other changes for both from stock:
#1 - abalone pickguard
mini on/off toggle switch added
Badass bridge
Hipshot D-Tuner
Schaller strap locks
Fender USA Neckplate
Hipshot 3-string retainer
Original '62 P-Bass pickups

#2 - same as #1 just with a B/W/B pickguard

Are you sure about that. It looks to me as midnight wine, and Candy Cola is on the American line.

neilb - Welcome to the forums. Sweet bass, I am digging the white/black pg look more and more.
