Hello! I am new to the world of basses, and was looking to buy one. I am currently looking at an older '70s P-Bass. It has been refinished in brown stain, routed for active EMG's, and refitted with a Badass. It's fretless, for $500. Is it a good deal? Thanks!

Oh hell yeah! If everything you're saying is fact, run!

Sounds like a great deal.

Good luck.

It's a great deal IMHO, but I'm biased to EMGs. 8)

He doesn't need to, it's a used bass with EMGs on the bass already. Depending how new the pickups are, EMG have quick connect and you can set up how you want the pups to sound.
