UPDATE. just spied the extra heavy in the accessories section here, but, 72 count only. not 12 count. I am looking for a 12 count pack. I'll keep searching online and again any help would be appreciated.

You can just glue a couple together and sand the edges a little for a fraction of the cost. There is killer good glue out there these days. They won't come apart.

Amazon has a first rate return policy. Send them back.

Hmmm... This thread bums me out, because I like these picks too, and I noticed that newer picks that say Extra Heavy don't seem as heavy as my favorite old picks. :x

The newer pick has gold print, say's it's 1.21 mm (when I can find my caliper micrometer, I will measure both picks) but feels thinner & lighter than my older Extra Heavy.

I hope all picks aren't as crappy as the one I got. I like my Extra Heavies! I like 'em like I like my girls. Thick, feel good in my hands, and make sweet sounds!

Check it out-

New pick on left, old on right- you can see the difference in thickness. See for yourself.
