A classic. Minus having the harmonies, have fun playing this bass line and singing it simultaneously with a vintage Fender Precision Bass strung with high action La Bella flat-wound strings.

What I have started doing is finger picking on my bass as per a guitar (acoustic). This gives the bass a more autonomous role though still has its own character - deep sound and looks cool :-)

Basically take any of your standard guitar songs and play them as per the guitar, though with a bass tone to the finger picking.

Typically I use chords further up fret board, though they could be anywhere.

Cheers

Another One Bites The Dust is the first one I thought of!

And maybe some Sting

Killing Floor can work without a guitar.

Might be interesting to do Heartbreak Hotel with just the bass runs. Another that comes to mind is The Beat Goes On. Carol Kaye says she invented the bass line to go over the single chord in the tune; since that's what most people recognize, the song should work with bass alone. Finally, "These Boots are Made for Walking" but that probably does require a female singer. Still, you could pretty much carry the tune with bass.
