My Classic 50's is honey blonde I guess- it's whatever color they list it as in the book for that year--05 I believe- and I heard it was a dicon color

ALSO I have had experience that has me knowing that I too in recent years have not been very impressed with AM Std P basses. There is something about them that to me makes them sound and play not so good. AND now I'm hearing someone say that they prefer a Classic MIM to an Am Std and it does not suprize me at all. I was thinking maybe it is the graphite bars in the neck of the USA's. BUT BOY OH BOY did my saying that bring out the hit squad- you'd think I had insulted somebody the way I got hacked on. Either way I think my 70's basses sound the best then comes my Classic and Roadworn then my 62 P build then my Squier Rat Rod-That's just the P basses. My 01 Jazz would go in right after my 70's basses. oh well who cares?
