Dude, how about an ExplorerBird?

Sure, I'd rock one of those - I kind of fell into this Fenderbird project, though - I got an Epi Goth T-bird and hardshell case off my local CL for $100, and a 2011 MIA American Special P bass neck in like new condition for another $125... I paid my luthier to route the neck pocket, and have done everything else myself - I already gigged it a couple times as a little shake down cruise... It's really gonna look sharp in seafoam green - I'll post some pics when it's back together...

Dean had released an Entwistle Firebird-style Hybrid with 22 frets, EMG HZ humbuckers and active electronics.

The US version of the Entwistle Hybrid sports a white pearloid pickguard, graphite neck support rods and a Hipshot Xtender.

Okay, nice pastel, always hits my soft spot. Nice bass. Darn near Daphne Blue, on of my all time favs.

Enjoy that puppy.

It's one of the shades of seafoam green - although my camera doesn't show it that well... Here's another pic:

John's own Fenderbird bass sports a maple neck but the rosewood fretboard on yours makes for a different feel and warmer sound.

Yeah, I was sorta looking for a P neck with a maple board because of the Ox, but when this neck came my way, I couldn't resist: it's a 2011 American Special that was practically new, for $125 of my local craigslist... I made the decision to go with seafoam green after getting that neck - I figured the rosewood board would look good against a color like that...

Other than the neck pocket routing, I did everything myself on this build... I thought about doing the routing myself, but my luthier gave me a great quote for it, and his work has always been outstanding...

I'm not sure what you're asking - the body came from an Epi Goth T-bird, who's neck I flipped on ebay to get some of my money back... I bought it with the idea to build a Fenderbird with it, right from the start...

I noticed he even routed a little groove for truss rod adjustments (don't see that on a T-bird everyday) love that color always did want a pbass that color but doesn't fit the genre of music I play but neither does natural but natural is my favorite pretty cool bass you got man

No, I made the groove for the trussrod adjustment - thanks for the compliments, though...
