Picked up the tribute cd yesterday. Really good! JJ cale was the man, if you haven't listened to his stuff, get some. He's got the "thing" we're all looking for.

I saw the 30 min doc about the album, seems interesting, a lot of interesting people, Tom Petty, Mark Knopfler, Willie Nelson.....
Hopefully it's going to put some more light on JJ, he had that special feel in playing and songwriting.
Everybody should check out the Clapton/JJ Cale-Road to Escondido album, it is one of the better Clapton albums.
While writing this I started listening to The breeze, and it feels good on a hot summer night...

There's a good Clapton article in Rolling Stone this month where He talks about JJ Cale.
