Hi, hopefully not an overly dumb question but if you are installing a previously used jazz neck, Fender of course, will the neck holes match up with the body holes? Or does one have dowel up the neck holes and drill again for a precise fit? Thanks.

All existing holes work so long as it is a 4 bolt neck going on a 4 bolt body.

From what I recall CBS sold a couple of P-Basses with the optional Jazz neck profile and "A" nut width.

+1000 :) Dave's right ....as long as it's a 4x hole neck going on a 4x Hole body,.. there shouldn't be a problem...

I have that exact configuration with a 63P body, 63J neck. No problem, no extra holes, no repaired holes.
