Yes that is what I have heard also but I will have to open her up when I have a chance. Time is not something I have had lately. Thanks again BC.

Fender has used 500k pots in passive P/J basses quite a bit. It helps brighten them up. But most traditional P-Basses use 250k pots. Even the MIM ones.

When someone finds out what cap was in the 50's Roadworn do post it here.
