Are these the PUs which are also used for the current MIA Standard Ps?

Nope - IMO, the current American Standards are a huge improvement over the '62s... IIRC, they're a "Custom Shop" pickup - I thought they were a little hotter, warmer, and had much better low end than the '62s... I believe they are OEM on '12 and later American Standard P basses...

I've recently had the opportunity to play the CS "60's Precision", an American Vintage 63, and American Vintage 62 all in the same day. The CS "60's Precision" is the pick up in the current American standard. While not as old school fat and thumpy in the low end as the 62, or as smooth as the 63. (The 63 is definitely different than the 62 and is a really awesome sounding pick up, btw.) I put it to the test by playing Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) by The Stones on it. A song my band covers and a song that Keith Richards laid down the bass line for on his 63 (I believe or 63 and a half?) Precision. It literally NAILED it. To the point where I was stunned. Fender really did out do themselves on the new American Vintage offerings.

I also played the Custom Shop 60's Precision offering in a Relic. The pick up is very "hot and growly" in the mids. Not in a 57 sort of way where it's sweet and punchy. It's definitely a more aggressive tone. Now, it took me by surprise honestly. I didn't expect it to sound so "mean". It almost didn't really sound vintage at all. So take that for what it's worth. It's a great pick up, and has a great tone to it. You can get some really nice throaty growl out of it. However, I don't think it comes off as very "vintage". At least to my ear. Maybe closer to a grey bottom 70's pick up than a 60's representation.

It wouldn't be my choice, but it's certainly a high quality pick up and sounds very rich.

I would kill for a left-handed AVRI '63 Precision! Those have to be the very best sounding stock Precisions that I've ever heard.
