Thanks. Yes this is Olympic White. There is a Vintage White, I think it's called, that is more of a yellowish cream color also. The Olympic White can look more of a brighter white depending the light it's in too. If it's in dimmer light it may look more of a light cream color, and as it ages it tends to turn a bit more cream white in color.

Nice looking family! I like the PG exchange, too, especially on the green one as it pulls up the metalflake.

Thank you sir. It does look better with the Jade Pearl than I thought it was going to. My second choice was a Tort. I have an extra Tort, but it wasn't as dark as I like Tort PS's to be. It was the factory Tort PG that came off of the Olympic White Precision.

I didn't need 4 basses. So I chose the 3.

The Jade Green P-Bass was exchanged for a Fireglo Rickenbacker 4003.

Decidedly you're a huge fond of Fenders, Gibsons and Rickenbackers! :)

Have you tried the limited-edition Walnut 4003?

No, I'm staying away from the Walnut Ric.

The Fire Glow Rickenbacker 4003 is a beautiful bass,.... nice choice Mr N. When I was a kid I wanted a Jet Glow or White Rickenbacker 4001,..... White is no longer available with the updated 4003, ... Jet Glow still is,.... used Rickenbacker 4001 & 4003's on craigslist in my area hold their value,in the $1700.-$2000 even if they have scratches, Dings or chipped off paint, & the 4003 is an improved instrument IMO ( better truss rod, tuners, the pick ups seem hotter etc) .. I'd sooner get a new one for that kind of coin, as new,..they retail for $1750.00 in my area ...... hmmm maybe one day,... but that would bring the arsenal up to 10 & I'd definitely have to part with one or two of the heard (something that I'm currently not willing to do,) to make space for a 4003....& thus concludes my musing rant of the day. :)

I like the three. For me it's probably two more than I really need but, oh well. A G&L would be a nice fourth, but I've set three as a limit. These three also play well through the Fender heads. There was a Jetglo there also, but I like the red burst application, and the grain in the Rosewood board. It really didn't do much to have two Precisions of the same type, just in different finishes. Olympic White / Maple won out. The grain in the head looked a bit nicer too.
