The bass is amazing!

I now have it pretty well under my fingers and am really stoked at the ease of moving to fretless.

Well, this fretless anyway.

With the Dot side markers and a little patience I've reached a point where I can gig this without fear of making a complete a%& of myself. (Very much a part time player in local bands. )

The comments I've had on the sound and 'looks' are all positive. In fact I've been offered extra work because of it.

If anyone is thinking of going to fretless, this was not that difficult with this instrument.

Nothing than a fretted TF could match this fretless beauty to perfection (though I'm not as 100% certain if you plan purchasing the fretted TF signature P in a later time  )

Glad you're enjoying your new Tony Franklin fretless bass,..... playing fretless is a blast & improves your ear ...IMO. I'd get myself a Tony Franklin Fretless P-Bass in a heartbeat if I didn't already have my Jaco Fretless Jazz Bass, The Tony Franklin fretless has a unique tone, & I love the pick up selecter switch,.....Tony Franklin installed it on his original P Bass when he routed the body to add a jazz bass pick up .... yep the TP Fretted & Fretless P-basses are nice well made instruments,....I also love the fact that they're passive.. :)
