Ready to go for another 50 years! Yes it did come out well. Glad to see the finished product. So often people ask what to do, then don't do it. This does look swell. Blonde with a maple board is a good choice.

Thanks alot everyone.
I am really enjoying the heck out of it, too. There was a bit of a buzz once in a while when I was playing it before, and the nut looks visibly too deep, so I was sure I'd have to replace it; but in the process of replacing a few other parts (knobs (NOT pots) and bridge) with vintage replacements, this instrument has managed to sound great and with no extra noise.

Pick guard is not vintage original, BTW, but the bridge and pickup covers are.
