Yep! But I'm glad I have them both. Some day I may get a Pawn Shop Mustang, for that short scale bass. My big problem would be, Olympic White, or 3-Color Sunburst.

Go Olympic white...... :)

The Olympic White has the blue competition stripe on it. I wonder where I put the Cragar SS Mags ? I'm showing my age back to the 60's again.

Even better than that, I bought a 4 Track 3 weeks before 8 Track came out. OUCH! That was a costly mistake. Image

JMH played the Miami Pop Festival at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Broward County, in May of 1968. I think. Just north of the Broward/Dade County line.

I saw him in Miami on July 5th, at Miami Jai-Alai Fronton, the night after he played at the Atlanta International Pop Festival, on July 4th. The man was on top of it that night. I was with a couple friends that had seen him several times, and they honestly believed that was the best they had ever seen him perform. They went back to Monterey Pop, and forward to that night. The man really looked into it, and was having fun.

I started my bassing around town in 1968, after not getting along with a Gibson SG JR six stringer, for about a year. In 1969, I started building bass cabs. and doing Roadie work. That was a great time.
