It really is sad, but business hasn't been fair for some time. Just another instances of good people out of a job.

They most likely found something for all of them to do. The area is for instrument production now. They are making way more MIM models now than a year ago and there is plenty to be done.

One employee that started out packaging strings at the old church still works there in administration. Esther Marron. She's been there since day 1 at the old church. That's 26 years and counting now. She is sort of the Abigail Ybarra of Ensenada....but unlike Abigail she can PLAY! Both of them are beautiful ladies! Here's Ms. Marron below:

Had to edit this to add something I forgot. I have a special respect for Esther Marron because of her volunteer work with the Red Cross there. She's been a Red Crosser forever too. Me just 30 years.

I am going to call it quits on this string trace and put the D's on. They are the same diameter, same winding and look, same thread color and wrap. The only difference is the original strings had brass ball ends, not multi-colored. Thanks to everyone for their comments. We gave it a heck of a chase, and I think we have it right, even with the one difference.

Watch for Linnin's open package string store soon.
