Hello there!

Some of you may have seen my post about the Tom Delonge strat and may know I'm a huge blink fan, well I have another question, which one is better? The new Mark Hoppus bass or the older one? From people who have heard/tried both, any major sound differences? Also what is the neck like, are they the same or a bit different? I'm not sure if I should go with the new one or old, or if it really doesn't matter. Please don't spam this with things like "BLINK 182 SUCKS LISTEN TO REAL MUSIC!!!!1!!" or anything like that because it's unnecessary and annoying, this didn't happen last time or anything, just wanted to throw that out there!

Thanks a bunch! :D

P.S I wasn't tired this time so everything should be spelt correctly

I'm not any expert, but I think the only differences are in body colors. Some colors only came out for a one year only. It's obviously popular as Fender keeps on making it year after year.

The newer Hoppus is made with better wood(ash), and the pickups are reversed.

Here's Mark Hoppus talking about his basses right here at about the 1:45 mark.

Thanks guys :D I found one on ebay for $130, although it has a few more days left, I'm hoping it stays. It's the older version, I'll get the updated one eventually
