Has anyone played the Blacktop P?
Oklahoma City sucks for guitar shops, so I haven't been able to find one to try yet...
I'm curious as to what the "JazzBuckers" sound like...
as I'm going fretless for a new project, I was thinking about getting one and changing the neck...
as I've stated elsewhere, I'd kill for a Tony Franklin signature model but just can't come up with the funds (not a lot of paying gigs for a prog band in Oklahoma!)...

There was a female bass player on here that bought one as soon as they came out, but she hasn't posted in a very long time. She did love it that's for sure. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't make an excellent fretless. There's a Fender Blacktop Bass Club over on TalkBass.com. Good Luck! :)
