Was the shipping carton damaged or do you suspect the seller shipped it to you damaged? That is the big issue now.

If obviously shipping damage, contact shipping carrier first to report shipping damage and make a claim for your total expense. Assuming it was insured of course. If you suspect the seller pulled a fast one return to seller for refund if they had a return policy. You'll have to pay to ship it back of course. Contact the seller immediately and get their statement on the condition of the amp when they packed it up. Take photos and email them to the seller and keep a copy for your records. If shipping damage it is on the shipper, not the seller.

Must ask if this guy looks familiar to you:

I did both i filed a case on ebay to the user and called UPS they will come inspect the damage as well as the shipping container(if you wanna call it that) the seller pretty much duct taped a box together and put shipping papertowels all around it unsuspective of the fact that that bad boy weighs 75 lbs and if thats tossed around damage will be done, it is splintered through the black covering actually tore my skin up lifting it not a fun sight

I've watched people load trucks at Fed ex and other places. They take care usually but I have seen guys just throw stuff into trailers when they are in a hurry and they are in a hurry a lot. Sorry to hear your stuff got broken. I'd be upset to the max.

Yikes! That is irreparable! Looks like shipping damage to me. You often seen damage like that on MDF cabs, but I thought these cabs were solid wood. Is it wood or MDF?

Looks like it took quite a lick, maybe a tumble off a conveyor belt. You often will also get damage like that when something heavy falls on a MDF cab, such as an amp rack. You could sell it on eBay as "Slightly used by Farnjsworth on the Carlos Danger Is An Amateur-But I'm A Professional World Tour." Start the bidding at 99 cents.

Just kidding of course. Shipping amps is always risky but this is out of the ordinary for sure.
