Hey,
I've got an 08 American Standard P Bass on the way, backordered, but none the less on the way here eventually. I've just signed up for this forum and thought I'd pop in to say hello. So, hello everyone nice to meet you all!

Its a 3 color Sunburst with Rosewood board. I've also got the bridge and pickup cover on the order as well to add that classic look. This will be my first Fender Bass, and I couldn't be more excited. I currently play an Epi Viola Bass with flatwounds mostly, which being mainly a guitarist for the past 20 years has a very "guitar like" feel to it. I figure now that I'm playing bass full time with the band im in and getting asked to play bass for more pit gigs I should finally break down and get what I've wanted for a long time now. I'll be sure to pop some pics up when the bass arrives fresh out of the oven!

Congrats, you have a great instrument on the way. I've had the opportunity to play both the P and J, always have a preference for the Precision.

Enjoy!
