I think that the Am.Dlx Precision 5 should be revamped into the series with everything they've added.
Anyone else agree?

The "new" ADP5 (if Fender finally releases it) would be completely different compared to the older models.

I've been saying this a couple of years. I would LOVE a 2 color sunburst with a rosewood fretboard. With a woodgrain that would POP. I love translucent colors. Passive electronics.
Guess I better start saving up. Wonder what it would cost? I already have a 5 string fretless.... But not a fender.

American Deluxes sport a switchable active/passive circuit.

If you want an all-passive bass, get an American Standard with 20 frets and a single split-coil humbucking pickup. Otherwise you should opt for an expensive Custom Shop PJ5 with a 22-fret neck, Hipshot tuners and a 3-knob arrangement with top-mounted jack.

I think that these AD P Basses should have a neck with binding and block inlays as the jazz bass version!!

The specs list mentions a bound neck for the ADP4, which is not true.
