There is a generic pets thread in the lounge, but I thought it would be cool for the bassists to have their own thread. So post your "pets and precisions" pics!

Here is my 12 year old cat named Luna with my Duck Dunn Signature & '70s P in the background:

And here she is with my Duck Dunn Sig when I had the strings off to clean it right after I got it - she was jealous that I wasn't paying attention to her!

My one bass is "Black Cat Scratched" . Big scratches on the back. It has mojo now. The scratches did something to it. Nice kitty.

We used to have a cat that would come in when I was playing and curl up right in front of the amp. Maybe it liked the vibration?

Of the four felines that wander our hacienda now, one tolerates it for awhile, the others leave immediately. Critics?

I've actually passed on used instrument bargains before due to them smelling like cats.

If the bass smelled like a cat, I can only imagine what the house it was in smelled like.

I thought this forum was going to the dogs. This thread proves it.

OH YES my BCScratched bass came from a dump of a nasty crud ball residence on campus. The guy even looked grubby mess as heck. The bass stunk like cats . I cleaned it with mineral spirits a couple times all over. It was terrible nasty gack infested cat scratched. I should have passed on it but I needed the case.

Thanks everyone - keep 'em coming!

Here's Luna's brother Sapphire in his Indiana Jones outfit with the Duck Signature in the background:

I pass on cats that smell like Höfner Basses.

Wasn't that a Led Zeppelin song?

How about the Led Ramones:

"Now I Wanna Sniff A Whole Lotta Glue".
