Well thanks for asking Oxfan ! :) we can spell cantelope two ways in Canada... we can spell it in French & we can spell it in English ..
I love sitting back on those hot lazy nights eating Cantelope while I funk away on my Geddy Pastorius bass or my Marcus Hoppus bass. :lol: :lol: :lol:

As you can tell by my post...spellin' ain't a big priority.....would much rather concentrate on cuttin' into that cantalope and eatin' it. Got my priorities straight. 8)

Now the big question.....Where are these being sold????? & are they available for purchase in North America ???? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

OH YEAH.......THE BIG QUESTION........are they available in surf green???? :P

I forgot to mention in my last post ( while I had a hankerin' for Melon) that my Geddy Pastorius Bass & my Marcus Hoppus Bass are Fender Special Reserve Basses with side mount jacks no less..............AWESOME!! :wink:
Yeah I bought them at a Secret music store in a secret country..... :P :lol: :lol:
a Mysterious guy named Jack Bauer sold 'em to me,....he has hanging with a guy called Fenton Farnsworth...... :lol: :lol:

Round these here parts, we calls them Musk Melons, they're a different varmint from them cantelopes. You didn't know i could talk Oklahoman, did you? :D

cantelopes are surf green for a period of time in their ripening.

It's actually spelt the same but pronounced differently ......one version is pronounced in english & the other is pronounced with a French accent,........sounds classier :wink:
Hey did you know that Cantelope in Greek is spelt the same way we spell it in English :)
so is Donair, Souvlaki, Tzatziki & Spanakopita (the last one's a personal fave of mine .....it's real tasty) :)

So, oddly enough, I ran into one of these basses on Saturday at the Guitar Center in Roseville Minnesota. I didn't have alot of time, but the action was great, the neck was easy to play, and other than personal opinions on the finish it was a great bass.
