Nice bass! I think I'm partial to the sunburst finish, too. The new Rumble amp is improved over the original series that you have and it does have fuzz and compression built in. I've actually used my 350 combo for professional recording and it sounds really good for it. I'm thinking sometimes you can get hum from certain electrical outlets, too. In my office, where I have an amp and 4-track demo set up, there's a problem with that. The house I live in is quite old and some of the outlets are quite antiquated. There's some here at are at least from 1910!

I pulled the PG off after work tonight. Shame - the ONLY thing that is there is a CNC hole. This series would have looked even better without the PG IMO. I took a pic if anyone wants to see it, but it is just that - a CNC hole....

That's what I thought about with the black one with the white pick guard. I think it sort of distracts, but to each their own.

Well Damn! Is the hole the size of a quarter? I think I'd fill it in with something and make an artistic feature out of it.

Thanks for posting, Gary.

linnin -

Glad to be able to post up some pics and share my experience with the bass. Seems these have been much talked about since announced, but either many people haven't bought them yet or they are in a shorter supply. Before I picked this up, I had a Fiesta Red RW P Bass, a Sunburst Highway One P Bass, and a very recently acquired Natural Squier VM Jazz Bass (which I got for a steal for $170 on closeout from Best Buy). I sold the Highway One and Squier and bought the Cabronita (I kept the RW, great bass). The Highway One was very similar to the RW and while the Jazz was a nice bass, I am more of a P bass guy!!! Let me know if you want to see anything else...this is a very nice bass.

Especially on this bass. It would have been so beautifully clean without that effen hole!

And NO 'Eff Hole' jokes please as this is not a laughing matter. Grrrr...
