Yeah I've got an '83 Precision Elite II that I've had since 1985. It's got active electronics, dual spit pickups, high mass bridge, etc. Weighs a ton, but is a good slap bass. Not good for blues or rock, tone is too thin on the high end.

Oh, I should add that Fender only made these between 83-85 so you'll only find them on ebay or through a vintage dealer. The good news (if you want one) is the price is right -- I haven't seen them sell for more than about $1,200 or $1,400 on ebay.
