The Closet Classic Precision bass appears to have an actual pickup cover so that you don't risk having the pickup self-destruct while you are playing it!

But $4600? Where do you see that kind of price being justified on such a simple bass?

That is a lot of money. It's Custom Shop though. For that money you might could luck into a real single coil CBS era Telecaster Bass in decent shape, but I doubt you could get a 1956 or back in anything like restorable shape. The Japanese ones while nice just aren't the same. The original design single coil design in a USA instrument are nonexistent till you get into the Custom Shop stuff.

I have to agree with you, Paul. The Demo sounds killer. I like the straight forward simplicity of the bass. Looks sexy too. An Axe Made For Murder :lol:
