I would say that it's not a Highway One, possibly because of the finish of the body, and the stringing through the body. I don't think a maple fretboard was ever an option on the Highway One Series either.

+1

It's a pre-S1 American Series Precision.

HWY1s from that period do not came with a maple neck, lacking off graphite support rods and string-thru-body option.

If you can find out the serial Highway One serials always begin AMX but I agree that this is NOT a Highway One for the reasons already given and also because of the color not being a H-O color.

The current American Special will down the road create similar questions that won't be so easily answered if someone changes out the tuners and figures out how to undetectably remove the tiny "American Special" series decal on the back of the headstock because the serial formats are identical on the Specials and Standards. Then you'd actually have to play it to tell.

BD - Thru body stringing - the current Am Specials don't have this, whereas the US Standards do.

And if they changed out the traditional Vintage bridge to the High-Mass bridge. The front head decal is different also. The Am. Spl. uses the Fender 70's style, and the Am. Std. uses the Fender Spaghetti Logo.

Sure as shooting someone will be drilling bodies to make Am Sp's string through.

hello once again. the serial number of that bass is Z2128158. I'm very happy about that bass. The tone is exactly what i needed. The neck is very comfortable and fast.
Also thinking about switching for a thicker strings for a high tension. Now i'm using 45-105. Will 50-110 strings somehow affect on the neck or trussrod? (GDAE and GDAD tuning)

Do you mean standard EADG tuning and "drop-D" DADG tuning?

In any tuning changing string sets will have an impact upon the neck and the truss rod requiring adjustments. Even the same gauge sets from different brands or series within the same brand will have varying tension. These adjustments are called a "set up." There is more to string tension than simply gauge. If you want high tension strings I have suggestion, Labella Deep Talking set 760M. I do not know of a higher tension set.
