Nice bass you gotta have, bro.

Personally I wish Fender releasing exact replicas of his other P-Basses, especially the white with the black body binding & West Ham flag sticker and the late 70's snakeskin blue.

Well the neck is the most important thing i feel because for me it's gotta fit like a glove! I do like the west ham bass he plays that more than the sparkly blue one do they shoulda done it unless west ham didn't allow it lol

As I once heard a little girl say "squeeeeee!" I'm glad to be returning stateside, so I can finally get one, I've been lusting for quite a while. Sold another 6 years of my life to the navy, it's my gift to myself. I am supremely envious, sir.

Congrats on getting a great P- Bass !!, I have the current model Steve Harris P-Bass (bought one of the first one's in 2009 when they hit the market) it's truly a killer bass in every way........the first thing I did when I got mine was get a hard shell case........ You'll have years of enjoyment from this bass,
There's another version of this bass that hit the market in 2000, it had the Iron Maiden logo on the head,....... I never played one of those but from what I've heard from people who have played both versions of this bass,.....The current version Steve Harris Bass is a better more accurate version of Steve's P- Bass ...........Up the Irons!! (as Maiden would say.) :)

Certainly agree about necks being important--maybe that's why I prefer J-Basses, but P-Basses are cool.

The Bass with the West Ham logo on it is the same Bass with the Sparkle Blue Finish,.....Steve Harris had Several different Paint jobs done on this Bass,......It was originally White, then painted Black & Then Sparkle Blue in 1884 (on the Power Slave Tour) & finally the current White with blue pin stripe & West Ham United F.C. Logo.

Funny thing though I have the October 2012 issue of Bass Guitar Magazine with Steve on the Cover with the Sparkle Blue P-bass ( he obviously has one of his own Artist models.)

The 1st generation SH P-Bass featured a wine pickguard and a Duncan SPB-1 split-coil humbucker.

Steve also uses an Ibanez Roadstar bass and has his own signature Unicorn models made by Lado Guitars.

Yes thats the Bass,...... the current version still has the BA II Bridge & Basslines SPB-1 split coil pickup & Fender swappwd out the Wine pick guard & black plastic knobs for the Chrome pick guard & chrome knurled knobs...Fender also Got rid of the (cheezy) Iron maiden logo on the back of the head & replaced it with Steve's signature, they also put an aged finish
on the neck of current version & the neck is a bit chunkier, & the current version comes with a set of pricey $$$ Rotosound Steve Harris Flatwound Bass Strings, The current upgraded version of Steve's Bass really is the whole Package!! ........ all good improvements to a great artist series Bass!!

Good Job!! That's a great case!! My 2011 American Deluxe Jazz 5 came in the same case...very solid ! ......... I got myself a standard black old school hard shell case for my Steve Harris P-Bass...though I've been thinking of of swapping it out for a TSA case ........ but hey, in the mean time the current case does the job.. :)

I got a good deal on the case it was brand new but a store model no issues dents dings nothing had the new case smell(smells like a new car) and this case is great very bulky and i like it that way great investment for high end instruments!
