Love the finish on these. They are well done. I've played two of them and both were among the nicest passive P-Basses in the GC selection.

I agree the finish is awesome metallic really looks great with the mirrored pickguard and to top it of a butter smooth maple neck this one is a keeper! the strings have iron maiden tone all over em!

That's one beautiful paint job and I really like the mirrored scratch plate. Duncan pups are another plus.
:!: :)

For $1,300 suggested list I would expect a hard shell case, though. What's up with that?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

She has all the makings of a workhorse bass but yes the case is a must! especially with that price the flimsy bag it came in got immediately tossed just waiting on my Fender TSA case to come in and i will be relieved but its quite scary it came caseless i know some ups workers coulda used it as a football lol only kidding but maybe because it was a crafted in Japan? idk but regardless i would recommend a case to anyone who gets one protect that metallic finish

P.s. UPS did send it to the wrong house i tracked it down to a neighbors porch and grabbed it within seconds lol

Very nice bass. U.P.S. has left my deliveries in unusual places too, at least it's always on my property.

One of my favorite Fender offerings, and one of my favorite bassists. Congrats!

Hahahaha nope had my name and adress but if it wasn't mine i might of had to snatch it ;) lol but it came with Steve Harris' custom flatwound strings and they give it an awesome iron maiden tone so ill keep em on there for now my other basses i use GHS round wound boomers luckily the TSA case came in so she's tucked in

Great bass, great bass player indeed, I had a Steve myself sadly for me I just could not get on with the neck, lovely feel but wasn't comfortable for me, my first dabble with that style of string to, but great bass she will serve you well.
