Just noticed that the OVERVIEW part of the new American Vintage '63 Precision bass says, "Available in Three-Color Sunburst, Olympic White, Faded Sonic Blue and Frost Red." However when you click on SPECS the color options listed are listed as "3-Color Sunburst, Olympic White, Faded Sonic Blue and Seminole Red."

Is Frost Red and Seminole Red two different colors or is that two different names for the same color? If Frost Red and Seminole Red are the same color, then why are there two different names for the same color on the same instrument? Political correctness?

I think there's a bit of misinformation in the specs list.

Frost Red and Seminole Red have the same #77 on the Fender color chart. But the red tones do appear to be different. Seminole Red looks to be a little brighter than Frost Red, that looks a bit darker in tone.

The colors on the chart don't always look the same as the actual color on the bass.

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
