Hi gang. I have been trying to find a schematic or something of how to put together an input jack. My bass was buzzing and eventually crapped out completely. When I opened it up there was just four washers of varying types sitting in the body and I have no idea how it goes back together.

Can anyone shed some insight? Do I need to solder something?

It is not an input jack , it is an output.....

Problem to mount jack ?

It is only a nut , washer and bolt ( jack itself ) . Where your four washer come from ? Jack need only one washer, Or is not the original output jack and it need more washer ?

Photo please. Which precision bass ? american , mexican ...year

Haha yes, "output" jack, sorry.

It's a Mexican P bass, 06-07.

Here are some pictures.

Ah! Ah! .....Output jack is completely broken. That's why so many pieces. Go to buy new jack if you know how to solder .

Switchcraft is the better make . American made. Avalaible at most Music Store in Norh America.

Otherwise anyone will do the job until it ....brake.
