Received my March 2013 issue of Vintage guitar, and there's an ad of CSG shop (customshopguitars) on page 33 showing several guitars. And there's a picture of a white P bass with no pickup and no knobs, just a plain white pickguard with no hole.

WHAT IS IT??? Line 6?

(of course, CSG don't have this thing on their site).

I'm lazy, maybe in a couple of days I'll make one.
On the picture you see only the bass body (no headstock).
It's a white (probably vintage white) P body with white pickguard, everything looks standard and familiar, but there are no knobs and no pickup. plain, clean, weird.

If you're gonna give minimal effort, you're gonna get minimal results.

I'm stumped unless it is some prototype.

I'm thinking the artist for the catalog got a little over zealous with the airbrush.

I like a big picture and that one shows exactly what you said you saw. Call Fender and ask them what it is. I wood but I don't have a television.
